Apple Butter Recipe Stovetop

Reduce heat and simmer for about 25 minutes or until apples are soft and falling apart. Stir occasionally making sure that no apples are sticking to the bottom. After blending the apples into apple butter you can place the apple butter back on low heat on the stove and cook uncovered for 30 minutes to 1 hour if you want it to thicken up more.
